History: The C&T Allē Awards have existed under various names for almost 20 years. First introduced as the International Technology Awards , they were presented at the Health & Beauty America (HBA) event in New York in 2005. In 2010, the name changed to the Cosmetics & Toiletries (C&T) Technology Awards , and the awards were moved to the in-cosmetics Global trade show in Europe. In 2011, the name changed again to the C&T R&D Awards and they continued at in-cosmetics in Europe. In 2012, the awards were added to in-cosmetics Asia as well, creating the C&T R&D Awards-Asia . Thus, in 2012 and 2013, the C&T R&D Awards were presented in Europe, and the C&T R&D Awards-Asia were presented in Asia. In 2014, the C&T R&D Awards were presented for the last time at in-cosmetics Global in Europe only. In 2022, they were re-organized and formalized as the C&T Allē Awards , which were presented in 2022 in New York and in 2024 in Los Angeles.
